Do I need to have a webcam for the video chat?

NO! Our psychics are broadcasting live from their home for you to see and hear. Just sit back, relax and enjoy!

Can I use your service if I only have one phone line?

Yes. If you make calls and connect to the internet with one phone line, you can still receive telephone readings. We'll show you how.

Can I get video readings if I use dial-up?

While our video chat and audio/video readings work best with broadband (DSL/Cable), you can still access this service if you have a good 56K dial-up connection.

I called a psychic but they did not answer the phone, why?

Most likely the psychic forgot to log off our system. Please try another of our great psychics.

Why do I see only black where the video is suposed to be?

If after 10 seconds you are still seeing just a black box where the video is supposed to be, it most likely means the psychic is away and forgot to log off the system. Please visit with another psychic.

Why does the video/chat page say I do not have Java?

Unfortunately not all computers ship with Java. Almost all chat programs use Java. You will need to download and install Java. It's quick, easy and free. Just click on the Java icon below.

Why does the chatroom not load, just see the Java logo?

There could be many reasons for this. First try closing your browser, then relaunch it and try again. If this does not work, you may have an issue with your Java cache. When you have an issue with the Java cache, you need to delete all of the temporary Java internet files. Here is how to accomplish this:

1. Click Windows Start Button, then click Control Panel
2. Switch to classic view on the left
3. Locate the Java icon (coffee cup) and double click it
4. At the bottom of the "General" tab, under "Temporary Internet Files", click Settings
5. On the settings pop-up, click Delete Files, wait and click OK.
6. Close the Java pop-ups and the Control Panel.

I am still having a Java chat problem, what can I do?

The actual problem may not be your Java but rather malware on your computer. It is so easy to get a computer infection these days, especially if you use and perr-to-peer services like Limewrie or Bearshare. We have an excellent page on our site that can be of great value to you. Up top, under "support", click on "PC Doctor". First look at Adware/Spyware removal. Even if you have such a tool already, still read that section, it will help you.

Why are some of the pop-ups cut off?

Psychic Access is optimized for Internet Explorer for a screen reolution of 1024x768. Your screen resolution is probably set to 800x600. A quick fix is to, at the top of your browser, click on View, then click Full Screen. A better solution is to change your screen resolution to 1024x768. To change your screen resolution, click the Windows Start button, then Control Panel. Double click Display, then click Settings. Beneath Screen Resolution is a slider, slide it to the right till it says 1024x768, then click apply.

Why are there right and left scroll bars?

Same answer as question above.
