Rita has always held a keen interest in exploring her existence and has questioned mainstream religious beliefs that prevented her from experiencing the reality of her true identity.  At the age of fifteen, she read a book about astral projection and attempted it. To her surprise and amazement, it worked!  The problem was, she felt as though she were tampering with things that could harm her, and so she denied herself any further exploration into psychic work, astral travel, etc.  She's always had these strong "feelings" of what would happen next and would invariably know when someone needed her. Whenever she received a thought about the future, it would somehow actually happen and the person who needed her would inevitably call. Nevertheless, she still ignored her intuition for most of her life.  Finally at the age of forty, a friend, who was always into angels, suggested a small book entitled "Angelspeake" by Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold. This book explained how to talk to angels.  Once again, her skeptical mind didn't really believe, and demanded that she try things out for herself.  And once again, to her amazement, it worked!  She not only started to receive words from the angels, but complete sentences were forming through automatic writing.  At first, she just asked if they had any messages for her and began to connect with angels as well as other benevolent beings, with strange names like Ashtar and Azrael.  Upon further research, she learned that these entities were also being channeled by other people and she became increasingly fascinated with this process.  As she worked with the angels more and more, she received an education from them on the nature of their roles, the purpose behind their revealing themselves to her at such times, the coming awakening, and so much more.  They taught her some of the most profound concepts she'd ever considered.  In the course of her studies, she's read many, many authors who have written extensively on the topic of angels, healing, spirituality, etc., and has become very well rounded in these areas.  Last year, she attended classes to obtain her Reiki level 1 and 2 certifications, and finds it to be a beautiful healing practice, one that can be sent long distance. As such, she often finds it useful to incorporate this technique into her readings so clients may benefit from additional energetic balancing and universal love. For her, angels have proven to be her greatest teachers and they were introduced to Rita by her mentor and friend, Anne Ford, who is herself a gifted psychic intuitive and angel communicator.

Since 2005, Rita has been giving Angel readings with remarkable results. It started as something she kept pretty much to herself and her immediate family while working in the business sector, where she had to maintain a certain level of discretion. But as word spread within her circle of friends at the office, she started reading for more people at work and established a growing list of regulars who needed guidance.  In 2009, she and her friend/mentor, Anne, started a radio show, Talk-N-Angels on WIFI 1460 AM radio broadcasting, out of Florence, NJ.  Guests included: Doreen Virtue, Dr. Darren Weissman and Mary Occhino.  She estimates that over the years she's read for at least a hundred or more, all through word of mouth. Her angel card readings began at events hosted by local Yoga centers and through a psychic friend who would often organize a Psychic Fair at various establishments that often included restaurants and clubs.  This is where things got really interesting for her. Her cold readings for people she'd never met before became a way to test her limits and stretch her psychic abilities. Instantly she found that she received visions and information for clients she hadn't known anything anything about, and received immediate feedback on her accuracy. The validations not only made her feel good about her gifts, but also left her feeling humbled and in awe of the great oneness and love that is all of life.

Rita's the embodiment of the humble servant with her sun in the sign of Virgo, and is the youngest of seven children from an Italian-American family.  Rita is a nature lover, animal lover, and people lover who appreciates the trans-formative affects of prayer and revels in being in the spotlight and entertaining others. She considers herself an ordinary person living in a family friendly neighborhood in Southern New Jersey, with her husband of twenty-two years--a man she is still getting to know! They have two children, Billy and Chrissy, a shelter dog named Misty and two cats (Boots and Jasmine), both rescues. As a budding writer, she is now working on her first book that tackles Earth's desperate plea for mercy, a work that is being channeled to her by elemental energies. Rita also owns and operates a cleaning company and is working on a joint venture with a leadership training company to create workshops for motivating sales people and service employees. In her spare time, she loves to paint--a passion she'd put on hold in her youth--and she is working on a collection to be displayed at her friend's wellness center.
